Just a couple coffman slip ons for me. With all baffles in it sounds pretty good to me. Need to powdercoat my rearsets and add my shorty levers and ill be done.
I don't like it. The best part of the busa is the curves... this just looks like they are trying to be every other bike with sharp angles, or at least heading that way. I'm all for some changes but if I wanted an angled beast i'd just get a kawi.
JMO as always!
Ah ya I forgot about the mighty vac... I got the cheap one you hook to compressor... Love it but compressor can be loud if you do it in your basement like I did. Hah!
Wow was that the biker hard on the horn? He knew how to hit that button but not the kill switch (if bike malfunctioned) or brake lever?
I thought for sure it was going to be someone pulling out in front of the faster traffic to the left and getting creamed. Glad to see it was a minor...
PJFZ 1 has some good points there. I think about improving every time I ride.
Some people it just seems to come natural and others I know should never even look at a bike!
I think many years of driving helps tremendously on the street. You know what to look for in other drivers and how...
I just changed the lines the other day.... Feels good to wrench on the bike.
I take it you didn't use a vacum bleeder. Hah! That might have woke the wee ones.
I used the vacum bleeder for the first time, I really like it! Been bleeding the good ol fashioned way forever.
I think you might...
I went with a white helmet not only because I have white on the bike but I think it makes you a little more visible.
I also put a couple of decals on it for some reflecting properties and maybe it grabs a little attention but I didn't go crazy. Anything to get people to look up from their cell...
I'll bring this thread up again too.
I just put spiegler brake and clutch lines on my 2014 ABS busa. I was able to manuver all the lines out and replace them with just a few cuss words.
I will run you through it for anyone who is thinking of taking this on.
First of all do not take the lines...
Nice looked like it clean up really good. I may have to do the same.
Again one of those things if ya plan on going back to a larger can just get ahold of some stock pieces and yur back in business. Looking around I see a set of oem parts are 150+ a piece. Ouch. I don't see me going back anytime...
I only made a new thread about this because the newest was 2010.
I know a lot of you do not like the rear hugger from hot bodies. I read about people's dislikes and was not going to purchase it myself.
I saw it on amazon for $113 bucks which was a lot lower then I had seen latley. I was...
Awesome . Thanks for the info.
I read about the front baffle I didn't know there was a second baffle. Interesting!
Sounds like what I'm looking for too. I like a deep sounding exhaust.
Sorry I'm not going to be able to help...
but I was thinking of getting some GPR exhaust for my 2014.
Hope you find answer. I'll be watching... Might help me decide if I want to go this route.
How's the sound compared to stock?
Not trying to hijack your thread just keeping it alive. ✌
Got...
Well I just bought a set from spruce. Just bumping the thread and letting people know they can still get the parts from aircraft spruce. It was 11.50 ish delivered. Less than lunch at Mikky Ds!
Thanks OP still going after all these years. You would almost think Suzuki would do something like...
