You guys are all spoiled.....come to Canada. 2007 Busa - 50 years old - riding since I was 16 - no tickets..........$169/month and I can only get insured by one company!!!!
Anybody can go that low.....no problem....spend 2-3$ million on bike development....start racing when your 4....have a natural God given ability to ride one of the suckers...be between 135 and 165lbs....and away you go. Nothing to it:thumbsup:
Mostly a boring race...Daytona was way more...
I changed from mineral base oil to synthetic oil in my GSXR and had the same problem. I changed the clutch plates and upgraded the springs one notch and fixed the problem. I used OEM plates as the specs are better. Never had a problem after that, kept using the synthetic.
I used the T-Rex no-cut. Perfect and easy install. Used them once in a drive way roll over and they worked fine. Figured it was a bad idea to cut a hole in my perfectly good fairing. My chances of getting the cut right diminished the longer I looked at the project.
One of the best cornering tips I ever got for street riding was from Steve Crevier, the Canadian Super Bike Champion....tilt your head slightly into the corner. That puts your shoulders and upper body into the corner and your bike will follow. I've taught my 16 year old and its worked for me...
Lucky buggers...Ontario, Canada. 50 years old riding since I was 16. No accidents/tickets/claims. Full coverage 2007 Busa - $1485/year. There is only one company that will touch it. My son, 16 years old, new driver - plpd only $2800/year on a CBR125 - we paid $2350 for the bike!
We get nailed in Ontario. 50 years old full coverage on a 2007 Busa - $1482 for the year - no tickets, no accidents - nothing on my record. My kid is 16 and has a CBR125 - $2800 for the year. Welcome to the land of the free.....bite me and then tell me why?
Same boat. Can't decide. Only have 30,000k on the '07 and some cool mods. They'll only give me $5 grand on a trade in for $13,990. That'd be over $9,000 grand for the trade. I dunno. The '07 is worth more than $5 g's to me. Leaning toward a cool paint job and some motor work.
Lucky. Ontario Canada - 2007 Busa - full coverage - 50 years old - clean record - 34 years driving - $1486.00
My kid - 16 years old - CBR125 - new driver - $2800 for the year.
And the best we can hope for is 7 months of driving!!!
