Ace the problem with cams that will flow more air for your big turbo is you will give up a little bottom end. I'm sure there is some lag with your setup now so this may add to it a little.

I know Velocity had a couple of used ones in there shop a couple of weeks ago for a gen 1.

I take long rides all the time...Install and tune are very important. Also turbos are tough on oil, change it every 1500-2000 miles. More if you beat on it.

You should be at full boost by 5500 rpms. And yes you have this turbo.

Joe I think that is the standard turbo Velocity uses in there stage 1 kits...A buddy of mine has one on his busa and I rode it. Starts making boost about the same rpms as mine. Mine is a 2871 but is a dual bb turbo so that allows it to spool fast...Yours should spool a little faster with stock...

Not true. Sure there are some dyno queens out there, but any stage 2 Velocity or RCC bike with a good rider and properly set up bike can run 8's with ease and also ride on the street with ease...Rider element is important, I've been to the track many times and watched a dude run a 9.50 at 175...

My bike will run low 8's all day long and I ride it as a daily rider in the summer...Bogus how does your turbo bike run on the street? LOL your comments seem to always apply towards car applications. Your knowledge is well founded but things are a little different on bikes.

282hp at 7psi is great...sure no boost creep going on there?

I have one. It's a great kit and absolutely explodes with accleration...lol. After a week I was used to the 292 hp it made on pump fuel so I dumped some c16 in, turned the boost up and presto 438 hp to the rear wheel. {I still haven't got used to this though}...Velocity installed my kit, droped...

I like my afr at 13.0:1 - 14.0:1 from idol till 4000 rpms. Then 11.8:1 to redline.

Put the R6 throttle tube assembly on your bike, you'll never feel the vibration...lol

Thats alot of HP for 7-8 lbs!

Bettor richen it up a little and pull those ti valves.

sonoco 110 and vp c16 runs richer than pump.
