+1 on this! Nothing worse than getting back to your site to find the Rats have opened every freakin' pack to get to the good stuff. Then you gotta line 'em up and do the breath smell test to find who ate the Charms! :laugh:

That's the whole point of them. When you're in the field you want to be doing #2 as little as possible. I could usually go 4-5 days in the field before digging my first cat hole.

+1 on this. If you haven't really ridden much at all you need to start with a bike that you can drop. It's almost inevitable that its going to happen, so why not to a used Katana or old SV? That brand new 6R is going to really sting you in the wallet and heart when its sitting in your garage...

Good point. The banking fiasco seeds were actually sewn way back in 1980, during the Carter administration. Then perpetuated during the Reagan years. The Clinton administration saw the beginnings of the "everyone deserves a home" mentality, and then Bush just ran amuck with the deregulation...
