I got over 70,000 on a 99 and it runs better than the day I bought it. Longer change periods....for the filter too. My busa is a magic carpet. 1 up on the front sprocket...speedo is right on....44 MPG when I baby it....20 something when I ride proper...used Amsoil since 1000 miles. I don't know...
I use Pranav all the time. I don't know for sure if he's "Cheapest" but he always has my stuff to me the next day....and I live in the middle of the country. He's a busa rider for a long time.

Great info.
Looks like the brake system has been updated better. I have had lots of trouble with both front and rear calipers. Front has 3 heli-coils in it....back has been replaced once and rebuilt before that. I live in the gravel and ride in all weather. Looks like they should handle the...
It might work...I have to think about it further. I would be swapping them back and forth...
I saw some on eBay today that went for around $250 and one rear that didn't get bid on for $95....GenIIs.

Might not be worth it....I could just sell them.
I'm thinking about buying a 2008 with 1500 miles...well taken care of.
I have an extra set of wheels for my 99 that I put new tires on and switch when convenient.
What is the difference between the Gen I and Gen II wheels.... and can they be modified properly to work...if anyone can help ...

I took the turn signal and starter button housings off....full of dried mud. When I took the end caps off the handle bars, water...
Thank Gitonit....I usually do take pics but I haven't so far. I've done a lot of work on the 99s before...never split the cases or took the head off. I have the 99 service manual. I think they're pretty much the same except the fuel pump...
Hi guys.
I been on the boards since 99 but quit last year.
I still have 2 Hayabusas....a 99 with over 70,000 and an 04 with around 28.000.
We had severe floods a few weeks ago and the 04 got taken down the crick. It laid in a depression for a few days before the water receded enough for...
