I know how you feel. I love the Busa, but the cost of plates and insurance is bugging me. We get nailed here in the province of Qubec because we ride sport bikes. Regular bike get the plates for $410, I paid $670:banghead:

I Ran Diablo Corsa and I enjoyed the grip. Only ran 2000 miles last summer due to the crappy (read very wet) summer we had here in Montreal. I noticed a very little bit of squarring off due to the highway mileage, but it wasn't too bad, cause I brought them back with a few runs in the twistees...

Sheesh ! The day I go around something that big and heavy, I'll get myself a Miata or some other convertible. If Suzuki would only make a sport tourer using the busa platform, like Kawasaki did with the ZX-14 & Concours 14. I would save a ton on insurance rates and license plate rates...

Well I hang on until it's about -1 to -5 degrees Celcius ( 30F to 23F) then I stop because there's usually ice patches around and that's not good. My Joe Rocket Alter Ego jacket and pants are plenty warm with a balaclava and full length gloves. So now my busa is covered with a nice warm blanky...
