FYI if you didn't know but with draggy you can setup custom mph/kph tracking. If you are planning on doing 4th gear testing you might want to setup some of those so you are seeing times specifically for 4th gear and not including the shift.
So reading the article on jalopnik.com and they said these will not be dealer stock and factory order only. Did anyone else see that in the Suzuki postings?
Oh another thing, the rear seat area doesn't look like it's going to have a very comfortable seat. My wife although a tiny girl loved the big comfortable seat.
Still 1990s brake setup. Was really hoping for stock radial setup. Whomp whomp, I'll keep my gen2. Not like I ride enough anymore for go from a $8k garage ornament to a $19k one.
Takaaki gotta be so upset from that. Little too wide, tires still a little too cold and boom dreams spoiled for now.
Didn't get a good camera angle to see what happened to AM but was upset seeing that.
Overall great race with lots of good passes.
Yup, post interviews he also said that taking it easy in the beginning helped keep the turbos cooler. Fastest 0-200 time is just over 14 seconds (Hennessey venom). Add his 200-330 (est 30 seconds) and just imagine how hot or failure prone a turbo might be at full tilt for over 40 seconds.
Only the Japanese bikes are limited. American bikes are too slow to compete and the German/Italians dont follow the limiting of speed.
But really I think the limiting was just because of the access to speed. Anyone with $6k (and I'm sure even less) could go buy a motorcycle capable of speeds...
Yes what i mean last 2 races he is coming into his own and finally finding the race pace he needs. Now if he can only find a decent qualifying time. I'd be curious to know what the finishing time was for everyone if you started each racers counter when they actually crossed the starting line...
