Motoseal was easiest to find and cheapest on Amazon.. go figure..

thought breather had to come out to release the starter from its hole.. regardless... no real time involved..

Daniel (GoldenChild) got me bumped up in line at Gast... did a full undercut on the upshift side , heavy duty clips, checked shafts and forks (all ok btw) and had transmission back in 2 days..

The bike was banging out of second gear in the middle of T7 at Putnam as it crossed a pavement seam.. Progressed to under full throttle to 2/3 throttle before I could get it yanked out..

I spoke with Paul at the ProStar event in Indy... the guy is motorcycle genius... (and old school at the same time) I like guys that ride and wrench the bike.. (seems to be a dying art of working on your own stuff)

well I got this hangup... motor is ready to go in, I just lack the "grunt" to lift it, and stab the bolts by myself..

the sealant only goes were the case halves meet.. the rest of the thing should seal provided everything is flat..

I would just get some 'ultra-black" for that part.. this sealant is solvent based and flows really really well for sealing case halves.. (It also does not "shim" the case apart, it squeezes out so as not to affect the bearing clearances)

I put this sealant in a 10cc syringe with an 18g needle and it worked like a champ.. (anyone needs a syringe etc, let me know, got piles)
