I will be there... mainly for just getting together with the Hayabusa.org people.. So whoever is organizing what, once you all figure out a day we are all going to meet, I will make sure I take that day off from work and I will cruise over. I can make it there in about 3 hours or less..

Hey Buzzlatka, if you are not on travel, want to ride out there together?

Hi twisted,
Yes..we're going. I have my holidays booked. My busa is having problems right now. It's in pieces...nothing that can't be fixed of course. I've been busy at work and planning all my biking holidays. I'm headed to bikeoctoberfest in Daytona in October and I want to go to Sturgis as well. I love motorcycle events. Anyways..when are you leaving for Laguna..what route are you taking? are we still meeting up in Portland? Is anyone organizing the ride? Are we all going our separate ways?
Where's Greg?

This should be a great turn out for the races. As usual there should be plenty of bikes on Cannery row. some advice though get there early for parking. through the years there has been more bikes coming to the races. I live here so I kinda get the whole picture on how this town works. Get your reservations in early because they do increase as time goes by.

Hi Twisted,
Well, it looks like Bog and I are each proud owners of new Harley V-Rods. I love to say we're going %100 to Laguna but it looks like the picture is changing. I'll keep in touch and let you know what happens. ...money it going to be a bit tight..but definitely going back to Bike Week in Daytona..that was a blast.

I'll be there Wednesday - Sunday. Staying in Monterey.

Two Great Rides out of Monterey:

Ride 1: One of the best rides that you'll find anywhere on the planet is heading South out of Monterey along the coast on Hiway 1 into Big Sur. The road is just an awesome combination of turns for 100 miles or so. About an hour south is a restaurant in Big Sur - Nepenthe - a bit expensive - but 2 outdoor eating areas and world class views south down the coast and for some reason it is almost always sunny and warm there even when the rest of the coast is fogged in. Go farther south or head back to Monterey depending on your time and mood!

Ride 2: North along the coast to Santa Cruz to Hiway 9 - East through the Redwood Trees to Skyline Blvd (35) north to 4 corners & Alices Restaurant - a major bike hanout & gathering place - then west back to Hiway 1 and then South back to Monterey. Another Awesome rides on great motocycle roads - I ride them alot!

Elton and I are going for sure, but I haven't decided whether to ride or trailer down. I al ready have my reservations as well.

If there is going to be a group ride or get together, Friday is probagbly the day to do it.....forget about Saturday. Everyone has thier own agendas that day.

I'd love to be there, but unfortunately will be supporting the War on Terror then. I would have been able to go if they had held to the original time I was supposed to be there, but they have moved it up 2 months. Have to try and get there next year! Hope everyone enjoys it because it sounds like a great time!
