I'm going. I'm going to book my hotel in Salinas asap. If anyone else is going they should reserve their rooms now. Bog is designing the routethis year. We'll meet the Portland group in Portland on one of our days down. Anyways, the route is being finalized..hope to see all of you again. Greg..are you going to organize again this year?

Hi twisted,
We're riding for 16 days. We're leaving Vancouver july 3. Bog's got this awesome route planned out. He says we'll be in Portland July 5..which is Monday. Youll have to talk to him about details. WE stayed at the Victoria Inn in Monterey last year. It cost a fortune. Is that what you what? It's $199 Us. Try making reservation soon.

Hi twisted,
Maybe you're thinking of the hotel in Salinas..Good Nite Inn..I think it went for $58.00 ask Thinker.
Well, right now for sure we've got 5 people for sure. Bog, Chris, and mayself are the only ones right now that are committed to riding the 16 days. There could me more but we won't be sure until next year. Bog has the route planned out already. I'll try to get it and post it. Talk to you soon.

personally I think the salinas inn stunk. literally too. ants everywhere in my room.

I am going to stay somewhere else this year(2004). Also, (gonna get some heat for this) I am trailering the bike down. the ride home last time killed me. Or, I will have to take 3 or 4 days to get home. Could be fun, eh?

chris.

Cache,
You're right...in 2002 we stay in the Good Nite Inn..that's why we decided to stay in a better hotel this year. I think we'll pay and stay in Monterey again..it's was incredible. Anyways..anyone want to stay in monterey let us know okay. Too bad you can't ride back with us Cache..the ride up to Canada is incredible up the coast. See you soon.

That sucks. I didn't have any problems with my room. The only problem with staying in Monterey is that it is going to cost as much per night as I paid for a week in Salinas.
