I would love to...however, it collides with my family vacation plans, it costs way too much for me to get there to stay and play, it's hot as Hates and crowded beyond ridiculous...
I'll be headed to Indy 2 weeks later...![]()

I'm not understanding your post ... Monterey hot? Not usually it is allmost allways like Bay Area temps and Indy yes will be very warm. Crowded? Not anywhere near every other venue for the GP, we are so lucky to have a world class event which is half the size of the rest on the calendar.

I'll be there! Not sure if I'll be riding the 'Busa or the Adventure... 2000 miles is along way on a 'Busa (for me). Probably staying in Gilroy. Rooms are WAY cheaper and it's only a 20 min trip to the track.

Ill be there. However, I have to leave the Busa beyond unless I can talk a buddy into driving the RV up for me.
A pack of us, my wife and myself included, will be coming down from Bellingham, WA. I went last year w/ 3 other guys and we did just shy of 3000 miles round trip in 8 days. This year we will be taking 10 days, to take our sweet time and enjoy the scenary.
A group of us from Bellingham, WA will be in attendance again this year, should be a blast![]()
I'll be there, but it won't be on the Busa

Bellingham Wa is a long ride.. lol.. I live in Redding just off I-5 so if ya need to stretch your legs..always offer my hospitality.. drop me an email if so.. single car garage.. can house quite a few if you have a group. next to mine.. sad to say I cant go to GP this year. Monterey from here is 325 miles.. Salinas is 300 miles.. used to live there. take about 5 hrs or so depending on stops.. take i-5 south to 505s to 80w to 680s to 101s.. that gets you into salinas.. from salinas.. follow signs on hwy to hwy68. ride safe..

I'll be there!
I'm in the exact same situation. My buddy id riding his ZX-14 and he's insisting I ride the Busa.. but I want to ride the Adventure because, like you said, 2000 miles is a long way on a busa, and just a warm-up on an Adventure.
TY for your hospitality, we got some Motel 6's already booked, and I do believe we will be staying in Redding for the night, have to double check our routeBellingham Wa is a long ride.. lol.. And trust me I know how long it is, did it last year, and we were running like 450 miles a day, talk about being happy when we finally got to Salinas LOL
This year 300-350 miles max
