99... hot! Â* I might stick those pics next to MY treadmill! Â*

We did the green tea iced tea tonight. I think I left the bags in too long, it's a bit strong & bitter. Luckily I only made a small batch. It's not too bad a little watered down with ice.
99, Since I can't turn my monitor sideways you'll just have to repost them so we can see them better! Â*

Deb, Â*The Â*Lipton Citrus is really good. Â*I also like the Raspberry Crystal Light Green Tea. Â*I buy the packets so I can keep them in my pocketbook. Â*

So, since Friday I've been having not so good food days. Â*I just haven't been able to kick it back into gear. Â*And I haven't been using the treadmill because I was afraid I would injure myself. Â*I pulled a muscle in my lower back (doc says it's right at the L2) weeks ago and have been easy on it. Â*The doc told me today that it's just a strain and set me up for Physical Therapy. Â*Hopefully they will show me the proper way to stretch so I don't do it again. Â*Then I can get back on the treadmill.

On a happier note, I'm down 2 lbs on my scale here at home. Â*Must be all that tea! Â*

Listen to you all! Angela, this was such a great idea. I love hearing how well everyone's doing.

Okay, didn't keep dinner under 450. But, I'm not going to beat myself up about it. I didn't go over 2000 for the day, so at least I'm not losing ground. Tomorrow is another day and I'll be hitting the bike that goes nowhere at lunch.

my dinner and evening didnt go as planned either. i didnt run today and i ate a ribeye steak on the grill. but i did put it on whole grain bread though. and i trimmed it real good. and it was a pretty lean piece of meat for being ribeye.

Ok, sounds like everybody had a very reasonable day! Nobody ate an entire chocolate cake and everyone that could do so did a little something active! Good going!! Â*

I did 30 minutes of aerobics this morning before work 10 on the stepper w/dumbbells - 10 on the bike - 10 on the treadmill. Did 3 sets of stairs at work too.

My weight was down a little this morning which is always good. I play with a 5 pound swing all the time but always strive to be on the low side of that range! Mostly I'm trying to get rid of the jigglies that have grown as I've gotten older! Cellulite sucks! Â*

i'll have to try the green tea i havent had any in a while but the last few days i've been on crystal light kick its the lil 5 calorie packets that you mix in a water bottle cause i drink them at work instead of picking up a soda on the way in so its cheaper and better and they taste awsome!

I was on the Crystal Light kick too. Just make sure to mix it up with water....like I should be doing. Crystal Light is still made of some sugar remember.

Today is a long day at work, so I think I'll do better today. It seems as though whenever I'm on the run I lose it completely. I haven't even had my bars on me to tide me over.

Hopefully tomorrow starts with the physical therapy and I can get stretching again. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Here we are, another morning with all the potential of the day ahead of us. I have my non-fat cherry Yoplait, brought my lunch (under 600 cal), my gym clothes are in my car, and we're having chicken Caesar salad for dinner.

I guess I should clarify....if not for anyone else, at least for the teacher here.

I mix my Crystal Light with water, however, I meant drink water as well. Not just the Crystal Light drink.

I was wondering too.

Closest I ever came to eating anything like that was "Pop Rocks". And NO, I didn't mix it with soda. Although I was tempted!!!

Well my intake has been pretty good. Â*I was CRAVING pizza last night. Â*So I bought a premade one at Walmart. Â*Only had 2 slices instead of my 3 or 4. Â*Dennis comes home and starts laughing as I hand him his plate. Â*"Guess what I had for lunch", he says. Â*"All you can eat pizza buffet". Â* Â*So OK, I ask if he wants something different. Â*No he says. Â*Then I figure I will suprise him and get him a bowl of no sugar added ice cream. Â*He starts laughing again. You got it. Â*He had ice cream for dessert at lunch too. Â*So yesterday was not a good food day for him. Â* We are having chicken breast with Carribean Jerk marinade and steamed veggies and a salad. Â*I know he wont have that for lunch!!! Â*

Going to go work in my yard again this morning before it gets too hot.

Keep up the good work ya'll!!! Â*

Hey all!

I was wondering if any of y'all have a problem with eating in the mornings? It's really hard for me and I know I shouldn't wait till lunch but I just don't feel like eating until then.

Like today...I haven't ate yet and its after noon. I'm starting to get hungry now but just don't want to eat yet.

The thought of eating after I get up just makes me sick to my stomach. I know better than to wait so long but I just can't seem to make my self eat that early.

Any suggestions? maybe one of them liquid diet drinks? Your thoughts...

I usually have a non-fat yogurt with a little granola thrown in. It's a weird thing...we're told not to eat if we aren't hungry, but we're also told to eat breakfast.

I grew up on a farm so I've been conditioned to eat breakfast. Toning it down to a reasonable protion is the hard part.

I do the same thing....yogurt with granola. I never ate breakfast much. Even when I was younger.

Try a piece of fruit or something....at least it's something healthy.

Don't eat after 8 PM (even try cutting off food at 7PM) and then when you wake up in the morning you are SO FREAKING hungry you won't have ANY PROBLEM eating.... well at least that is how it works for me

Caration instant breakfasts used to be my friend when I used to oversleep... but no problem of that now.. my growling stomach wakes me up around 6:00 every morning!!

Of course he's going to run today! He doesn't want to be shown up by a bunch of girls! Â*

Come on 99, you're falling behind... so far today I've done 35 minutes of aerobics. 15 on the stepper working my arms with dumbbells, 10 on the bike 10 on the treadmill and 45 minutes of Yoga at lunch. Haven't done the stairs at work today/yet(?).

Brought some green tea bags to work today to have instead of some coffee. I think I need to pick up the caffinated bags tho cause sometimes I need that caffine pick-up!

I was grilling over the lipton tea bag page. Did you know their plain caffinated green tea bags have the most antioxidants our of all the flavors they sell?! I think I'll get that & just cut up a real lemon. We're trying to be healthy here right?! Â*

My food intake is normal & on target. (oh yeah, we did our burger & fries shared dinner last night but the scale was ok this morning! Â* )

(I need a nap)

Deb

PS: Anyone else needing some motivational smack talk or cheering on? Â*

I have a problem here...I was doing great today - yogurt for breakfast, only 2 cups of coffee, water, 30 min in the gym, and ate the lunch I brought. 30 min. after I ate I wast still hungry. Not just dissatisfied with my lunch, actualy hungry! Instead of getting a candy bar, I had some leftover lunch from one of the meeting rooms (sounds nasty, but it's leftover catered Mexican food). All I had was 1/2 an enchilada and 1/2 a sopapilla. I'm full now - not stuffed, but I've used up all of my calories for the day. Aaaaruuughh!

This sucks. I'm really trying here. It gets discouraging. I know myself, if I'm hungry, I'll bunge eat. So, I'm resigned to going over my allotted 1500 calories, yet again. I'd love to go get the other half of my sopapilla but I'm going to be strong...I hope.
