I don't ride, but sometimes I think I might want to listing to all the ladies talk about how much fun it is. I'm still not comfortable with it and I'm not ashamed to admit itI figured it would be best for all involved if I stayed off the road until I have my heart in it.

We have no kids and 2 kitties. I have met a few of the people on the board. What an awesome group of people. I lurked for awhile too. BW kept encouraging me to get my own ID and join in. Felt kind of like I was "intruding" into his space. I am over it.![]()
Gotcha!!!
Ok, so I am Mrs. Omslaw! *If the name doesn't give it away, I am the wife of Omslaw. *That is how I came to the board. *I am a non-riding wife! *I am relatively new to the board, just getting to know most of the people my husband had been hanging out with over the years. *I find I have the most fun talking with the ladies of the board anyway! *We have three kids, a 10 year old son, and twin 7 year old girls. *They all play sports, and the girls are in dance. *I have hovered over many a posting before contributing lately. *So, I know we are supposed to post pictures. *I don't know how to do that (Sorry!), so I will have to re-post pics later. *Believe me, we have plenty. *Just thought I would say hi and that I thought this was a great idea. *Let's keep the guys out! *![]()
hey.. it's me... Jules... yes I ride and I am Doc Drop's beating post. I encourage all ladies to ride but I know it's not always their cup of tea.. plus (unlike me) you look CUTE on the back of your man's bike.
Any questions, feel free to ask away.

Hi there! Mrs Twotonevert aka Juli. When I got my own bike last year, James told me that I was going have to have my own sign in name even though I haven't posted up very much. I meet so many neat people at the mng and the bash this year. I am still in the learning stages of riding my bike as some of you know but I also love riding 2 up with James.
Thanks Kristi for helping set up our own site. Yeah!![]()
Jules - we all look good on the back of our men's bikes. *We are the ultimate bling. *
Dawn - I was surprised to find out that you didn't ride when we were at the Bash. *Dan had mentioned you before and I just assumed...
Okay, so what does everyone do? *I'm a system admin for a restaurant company by day, but by night and any other free time I can find **I design and make jewelry, knit and crochet. *Oh, and I'm a sudoku addict.
I hate to get my picture taken but here's a picture of Dan and I at the Bash

This is SUCH a cool idea!
Hey everyone! I'm Jessica, I'm 26 and I'm a busaholic! I've been riding motorcycles for 6 years and have probably ridden two up with Rocky maybe twice on the big bike since then. I've always had a passion for them. I worked my way up to a Busa two years ago and actually made my way here myself for some techincal issues and signed in and never left!
My hubby's on here scarcely but he's got a busa too (I've owned mine longer *)
I'm in the Navy Reserves as an Intelligence Specialist, have my private pilot's license, love being outside, love Harry Potter books and have to start looking for a full time civilian job this week![]()
That's me in a nutshell! I gotta run. I'm on lunch break... yes I have drill this weekend. The only two days out of the month that I've worked.
Hello all....I'm Angela. DNGrumpy's wife...in case you couldn't tell.![]()
I've had my license to ride for about 5 years now, but my Buell only has 78 miles on it. I got freaked when I went off the road (my own fault....no damage to me or the bike) and haven't been on it since. However, since attending the bash I've gotten a little more courage to attempt riding again. I'll ride this for a while, but am looking at my next bike already. Either a GSXR600 or a Katana. Not sure. Will depend on finances.
We have one child, Anastasia (she'll be with us in the Spring), 3 cats and a dog.
It's great that this was created....I remember talking with Kristie about this at the bash. Glad it put into motion so quickly!
The same thing happened to me. *My first bike - a Bandit 1200 - was waaaaaay too big for me. *I rode it for awhile, dropped it a couple times, then more or less stopped riding. *So Dan got Ingrid for me.Originally Posted by MrsGrumpy @ May 04 2008, 3:39 PM

I've had this one for about 4 years and put less than 200 miles on. *But we went riding yesterday and it was the most comfortable I've felt on a bike, other than as a passenger, since I got my license. *I think seeing all the women riding at the Bash helped.
AKA - Mrs. Dan
I'll need to ride a bit more in parking lots and such before I even attempt to go out on the road. Maybe by the time the Spring Bash comes around again I'll be riding on my own!![]()
Okay...I can't help but notice that there have been over 196 views to this post, but only a handleful have responded. Where are you all?? I would love the opportunity to chat and learn about those of you that I didn't have a chance to talk to at the Spring Bash if you were there.
I think it's easy for guys to say, "babe, it's just a bike. Don't be scared." But when you get a group of women together it's all the more motivating. Kind of like your sister got something and you all of a sudden want it too. It's more meaningful when you find yourself around a group of women other than feeling like you're tagging along with your man.
I found a bunch of pictures of my bikes. Unfortunately I don't have a picture of my very first picture. Probably a good thing too. It had a cheetah seat.
My second bike- Blue and Sparkley YZF600 What! I like Sparkles!
My third bike- F4. I had this for a few months. Wasn't powerful enough!
My third bike- TL1000! It had two different paint jobs and this one was my favorite Baby Blue and my inspiration for my custom licens plate that I have on my busa today.
The fourth bike- 01 GSXR 1K stretched and slammed. I never raced it though I wanted to. I've gotten a makeover since this picture....
Finally I traded the GSXR for this. It was white when I first got it.
