Hello Ms. GSXTacy! Good to see you post up. You will like it here. I am glad to see more of the ladies joining in. Would be awesome to see the ladies lair become a busy hang out.

For those of you who don't know me....I am Melissa. I was introduced to the busa world when GSXTacy (Chris) and I started dating over 3yrs ago. Spent the first year being a non-rider but, after taking the safety course, I now ride my own bike and enjoy every chance I get to ride. Currently own a ninja 250 but looking to upgrade within the next 6-8months. For those of you who are new; WELCOME ABOARD!!!:![]()
and I can't wait to chat with the rest of you!!

to all those that are new here. I had been away for a while and came back not to long ago.
Now that I'm typing this I forget who said it, but we do have a "Diary of Weight Loss" thread that you can join if you are serious about losing some inches and lbs. We try to hold each other accountable for actions.....a buddy system. Check it out.
4 more days til I leave for the Bash!!!![]()
Hey all! I don't get in here often...I actually created this log in to get my other half's attention (devil dog or Vinny)
I was away in Iraq for most of this year, and just got back in August...we've got 3 kids that live with us and one that does not...and we're getting married on Oct 17, 2009. Check out this site and vote for us...maybe we can win some freebies!!!David's Bridal - ''One Love'' Contest
I'm walking in the San Diego 3-day (i hope) if I can meet my fundraising goal. This will be my 3rd year walking. Vinny's mom is a 2 time survivor, so I walk for her...and so that someday my girls won't have to. (You can check out that site too...)http://08.the3day.org/goto/amy76lee
I didn't mean this a "promotional" post...sorry.
Anyway, I've been around here for a little while, but like I said, I don't come in here too often...it's sort of "his" place. Now that I know this forum is here...I'll have to come in more often.
~Amy

Some of us are lurkers too....coming here is the only time we get to talk to our husbands.Myself excluded. He works too much to get here any more.
This is a wonderful group of women.....you'll see that at a Bash if you get to come.
It's great that you are walking...I thought about it, but I just never got signed up. Congrats to you!I do however have a promotion going on my website. So I'm participating in that sense.
(If anyone is interested you can PM me as I'm not allowed to post my site here)
I hope you meet your goal.
Hello Ladies.
My real name is Lisa. Been on bikes since I was 7 years old. Dirt of course way back when ... but been on the street now for 18 years. Wanted a Busa in '99 when they first came out but funny how NOT HAVING THE MONEY can change your plans. But all is well, finally got an '06 and I'm grateful!!! What a machine!!!!
My boyfriend and I have both ridden bikes forever ... seems like anyway. He's got an '05 Busa. Heck, between the two of us we have 8 motorcycles. The garage looks great with all those wheels in it!!
We're over on the east coast by the Space Center. Do ya'll every plan group rides, or weekend trips?
Guess that's about it for now .... hope to meet some of you soon.

Hello, My Name is Angela, I am 34 years old and own a 2004 Busa. I went from riding cruisers to the Busa and have fell in love with this bike. It started when a friend from work bought an 06 Busa and I immediately had a crush on that bike. When he traded it in for the Orange and Black 08 I decided that it was time to convert. Bought the 04 last May and have not been able to remove the smile from my face.

I am a new day rising
I'm a brand new sky
To hang the stars upon tonight
I am a little divided
Do I stay or run away
And leave it all behind?
Miss you Don
Hello ladies, My name is Rina. I am Joker's wife. I adore his 08 busa and dream to have my own bike. Every time we go for a ride together I am happy.

I have to ask how tall you are. I have a Buell only because it was the only thing I could fit on. Would love to have something with more....ummm.....power.![]()
Okay, I found out that they didn't get all of the cancer September 15 (our 18th anniversary) and I FINALLY got to see the surgeon today. The thing is that it wasn't my doctors holding things up, it was insurance, the Fall Bash, timing for the tests (some are pretty picky), trip to London, etc.
On Monday I'll get my surgery scheduled. We're hoping for late next week or the week of Thanksgiving. That will give me time to convalesce and not miss too much work. The surgeon went over what he's going to do and the "risks" and side effects of this surgery. I could lose a muscle and nerve in my neck, but to be honest, it's a small price to pay to get rid of the cancer.
And I'm going to have a wicked scar...from my jaw just under my ear to my collar bone. Excellent for a zombie costume next Halloween. Honestly the scar part doesn't bug me. The one from my first surgery in January is almost invisible.
I'll update as soon as I get a date for my surgery. I'm already stock-piling books and getting a list of movies to watch.![]()
AKA - Mrs. Dan
Thanks for the update HRHDi.....I was going to send you a PM this weekend. You're right....it's a small price to get rid of the cancer.
Let us know when your surgery is.
First of all ... sorry to fill up this thread with my stressing over heath issues. But thank you all for indulging me.
I finally got my surgery scheduled - December 9th. So, neither Thanksgiving nor Xmas will be impacted too much. I'm just glad to have a date.
AKA - Mrs. Dan
Get well asap!
Glad to know the date......we'll be thinking of you!
