Hey folks I started this thread to post pics of Don and our friendships that we have experienced over the years. This thread is to celebrate Don and the friendships that we had with him... This should be a happy thread with lots of great memories...

Riding with my friends Don and Kevin...we had a great time that day. I miss them both, someday we will get to ride together again.

We, Randy and I, first met Don at the Spring bash of 06. He was the first person we talked to when we got there. From the first moment we met I knew he was a great guy. Not soon after the bash his oldest son Patrick moved to Mobile and we became like family. Don would take many trips down here to not only see his son but to also see us. I have many pictures to share of our time together.....

What I loved most about him was that he had a great sense of humor...

Don sent me a PM and said he would never forget his ride on my new VTX1800. I felt the same way when he let me ride his Hayabusa when I spent some time with him in Chattanooga this spring. I will never forget you my friend.

It saddens me so at the lost of Don. I only got to meet him a couple of times, but his aura projected the values he holds dearly. To be that full of life, that full of the Spirit In The Wind, to travel everywhere he could, to ride the roads just to feel life, to comfort and help those in need, his remembrance should be that we all aspire to gain this quality of life.

"People will not remember what you said and did, but they will remember how you made them feel." Godspeed, Don. Thank you for sharing you with me. Ride them Streets of Gold with Kevin for me! Your legacy is going to be hard to beat!

I remember hanging out at Don's place during the Spring Bash of 08. One of the things that I keep thinking about: The friendships we make can bring about the most joy, and the worst pain. The more we love someone determines how this comes about..........forgive me, it is hard to type. One of the things that I always liked to ask Don, was where are we? And he never knew where we were, but he knew how to get back home. What he taught me was that it doesnt matter where you are, its the road you took to get there, and the trip is more important. Enjoy the ride and dont worry about where you are, just have fun. Yes, he had a great smile, and was open to anyone. You will be sorely missed. I know why God called you home, I am happy and sad, selfish for wanting to keep you here for us to enjoy and continuing to share our lives. Bless you my friend............with love.
