AZ drag racers

I'm an avid dragracer in the midwest and am going to make a trip to AZ in either March or April. I may be looking to run my brothers 08 at the strip while i'm in town. He has not run it yet and I'm curious to see how fast i can pilot the monster down the Quarter.


What track do you run? What night of the week? Entry fee? Any additional info you think may be helpful?

Firebird Raceway...Run what ya brung...

Firebird is one of the best facilities around.. Charlie used to own OCIR and even brought the old wood grandstands over from CA when it closed down.. the road courses are a blast if you get in a club that gets to run them..

Drag lake, boat race lake, drag strip, driving school, ampitheater, 4 or 5 road courses, and casino right across the street yea!!

There's also the smaller Speedworld Motorplex. They used to run the PSCA events there but they don't anymore or at least not for a couple of years. Some of the PINK's races were held there as well.

This brother of mine is a really nice guy, but a little big and has no leathers to run the bike at the track...
