Default Biker down -Kuwait.. 5 hours ago.. !

OK... OK .. let this be a lesson to me.. NO I am NOT SUPERMAN.. AND YES I will eventually fall !
2- ! DAYUM .. PROTECTIVE GEAR DOES HELP !

ok.. so i'm leaving my friends house.. going down the round.. roundabout in front of me.. knockdown the gear from 4th to 3rd.. about 11 PM no one around.. I go into the circle about 70mph.. hey i've done it before.. and i love this circle cuz its the smoothest in kuwait and has a very large turning angle.. this is where i had planned someday to knock the bike down to my knee.. but i hadent planned that out for tonight.. anyways.. go right.. just start to turn left then.. WTF happened? i was on the bike.. next thig i know i was rolling and watching my bike scrape along beside me.. so.. oh LESSON 3 ! ALLWAYS READ ! HELL .. STUFF DOES STAY IN YOUR HEad wHen u NEED IT ! so i remembered to brace my hands together and become a rolling ball .. and flipped till i stopped about 60 feet away.. laying on the floor in the middle of the circle just astonished at what happened ! I had my helmet and 140$ safety goves and ALPINE jacket with back safety and elbows.. BUT i was wearing jeans.. **** back o lesson 2 ! NEVER WEAR JEANS AGAIN !
i sat up.. looked at the cars stoppd in the middle of the road just looking at me ! they didnt even get out to help me.. ! ****.. i took off my helmet.. and saw my bike flipped over the curb leaking and was still on.. so i ran to the bike about 40 feet away and shut it off.. 3 cars stopped came out to see if i was ok.. i felt ok.. but my jeans were tore up.. my head was fine.. my hands were fine.. my back felt ok.. ! just my knees bleeding.. so i told them to go it was ok.. i called my friend to pick me up and take me to the hospital..no broken bones no tears.. just some hurt in my right wrist and my right foot.. bandaged up my knees and took a tetnis shot ( i think thats how u spell it )all fine just my knee hurt as hell.. anyways.. the bike is a mess.. brang my trailor and took it back to my friends house to rest.. leaking every kind of oil known to man.. i noticed that there was leaking just before the bike slid ! i saw it on the road .. ! so i'm thinking something was leaking.. got on the back tire and .. wohooo ride of my life.. oh well.. just needed to get that off my chest.. pics are poor quality cuz its my phone camera and no flash.. also 11pm :S

here they are...

the one thats far away.. that to show how far away i sled.. from the point i took the pic to the jeep infront.. or the curb waaaaaaaay over there.. !

Sorry to hear about the wipe out. Happy to hear that you are fine save for the knee strawberries.. The correct way to spell the shot is "Tetanus". The pain will get worse overnight and even worse the next day. I strongly suggest picking up some Naproxen aka Nalgesin aka Alleve and use it for the next several days to cut the pain that WILL come..

Wow. Best wishes on a speedy recovery for both you and your bike.

Thanks for reminding me why I decided earlier this year that I will always wear ATGATT from now own and demand the same of any passenger that wants to ride with me.

Best of luck!

You're alive dude, not going to cover my last five years of life with anyone. WE ARE NOT IN CONTROL

Things will get better, and the baby will heal just fine; given time.

Praying for ya my brother.

Hey, about a month ago, i went down on mine. I was hit by a car at slow speed. I was wearing my helmet, gloves, jacket, and jeans. My knee was scraped but other than my shoulder hurting, I was fine. I think I must of landed in my shoulder.

Last week, I finally invested in some pants. They were half price at a local gear dealer so I jumped on them.

Glad you are okay and hope for a speedy recovery for you and the bike.

Wow, quite the ride, glad you pulled through with as minor injuries as you did. Could always have been much, much worse.

Don't let this get you down, things will get better, bike can be fixed or replaced, you can't!!
