gen 1 rear shock

What is a stock rear shock assembly worth? I am looking at picking a used one up for when I redo my suspension and am not sure what to pay.

its the one on the right,the one on the left is the one i had revalved/rebuilt with a spacer and a 1300lb spring

I found one local for $50, but i don't know anything about miles or anything. Does that really matter if I am using as a base for a replacement?

no,it doesnt matter if your gonna have it rebuilt

I sent a like new one in. I wanted to make sure the parts were in the best condition possible to avoid buying replacement seals etc.

I got one off Ebay that I sent off to have reworked and paid $40 to my door for the used shock, it was in good condition also.
