Aprillas are hot. But I have to say I think the shiny side looks a little...messy?

The new R1s are a little less messy looking.

I like Aprilias, I really like Aprilias, but Owning One now, NEVER. They have real $$$$$ problems, along with the very very long history of parts problems. And now the President of the Company that bought them has been found guilty in Italy ( He is awaiting entering prison while he appeals) of MUCHO MUCHO $$$$$ Manipulations *

They could and should be a GREAT PRODUCT, but with the $$$$ problems they have and still have, they're not for me and that's *

I rode a buddies Tuono. It felt like a dirt bike (very upright with the handlebars).

I'm not a fan of the twins (don't have much time on them), but it was very torquey.

Not trying to be a buzz-kill, but while the Aprilia machines are very nice, their resale value really sucks. (Not that that's the reason you're buying one.)

Did you check it out at Mattison (sp?)?

Saw it at Interstate Cycle in Charlotte. At 12,900 its pricey. First one I have ever seen in person.

My friend has an '04 RSV 1000, very nice bike, handles awesome, sounds beautiful with a Leo Vince titanium setup, just a really great bike. *I'll try to get some pics later on.

First day he rode it, after buying it from a major Aprilia tuner in Texas as a leftover model, and having it modded, dynoed and shipped up to CT.... we head out after the RSV and the Busa met each other * * He gets on the throttle, then I get on it from about 4 bikes behind, around 140 I rip past him and we get to the end of the highway. *He slowly goes by me giving me the finger. *HAHAHAHA... *That pissed him off, but he knows the RSV isn't a top end bike, its not what he bought it for. * The busa is just comfy and FAST, and that is why he calls my bike "The 200 mph couch"
