Luggage

Hi...

I'm planning on doing some touring this year.  Wanna get some hard luggage and been looking at Krausers.

Anyone got them?  what do you think?

As another question, perhaps a silly question, but how can I tell that I've got the newer steel subframe to take the weight? Were all bikes recalled at that time? Kinda hoping the owner at that time took it in. (I've got a 00 bike)

Frame should be black if steel not silver..... Use a magnet!

ive got a 00 with the aluminum sub frame.have a rentec rack for my duffle bag.can hold a couple days worth of cloths.wife weights 170 ish with gear on. no problems.i think the sub frame thing happened to very few bikes (but is bad stuff) i havent heard it happening in years.some guys used brackets to shore it up and heep the frame.i havent had a problem .but i do have the stock exhaust on ,wich suzuki said should be left on with the aluminum frame.

Thanks for the tip Rob. Its only gonna be me on the bike so thats a nice saving in weight. I might need to do the bracket thing and put the stock exhausts back on for touring.
