From reading post, I know that there are a lot of big fellas on this forum. My question is, are there many smaller guys/girls riding Busas too? By smaller I mean under 5' 10'', less than 180lbs.

    5'7" about 165.
Why do so many people act like the Busa is a monster bike that can only be handled by large people? The Busa feels like a flea compared to every other bike I've owned. Must be a lot of newbie riders...go back into the early 90's and the smallest lightest bikes were pigs compared to the Busa.

5'10 220 (yes, I'm trying to lose weight).

Busa's size is of no concern to me.

and yes, I'm workin on losing some of that weight....but not to 180.

Hell, the last time I was 180lbs was in 8th grade. The 200lb mark was a thing of the past come my freshman year in highschool.

Yes size matters! Now for your question about busas, there should be no problem for a person of small statue and weight to ride a busa. I would only hope anyone who buys one would have some experence riding bikes before they jump on one.

My Busa was previously owned by a 45 yr old 5'0" 100 lb female that rode it like she stole it. She traded to a new BMW K1200S.

6'4" about 235, hoping to someday own a busa... till then, saving for a GSXR 600, im sure i will be cramped on it, having sat on it, but i dont think i want to learn street riding on a 1300...
someday I too will own a Hayabusa, on 2 wheels by August 2006 or bust!!
