February is

Nice.

I want to know if in July and August is it to cold for you to ride like it is here December - March?

Not at all. That's our Winter, but also our dry season.
I do as many or more miles then. Cool and dry not hot and humid like now.

Brisbane temps for June, July, August are normaly between 10 and 20 degrees C,
I think that's about 50 to 70 degrees F ?

Not seen a frost in the 11 years I've been here.

Temps are in C not F
Australian Weather Calendar

I looked at several country's around the world before I moved here.
I hate the cold but realise the extreme heat and humidity can be almost as bad.

I ruled out all of Southern Australia as it has colder Winters,
and ruled out the North as it has more heat and humidity.

South East Qld (and half way up the East Coast) is the ideal compromise.
A few weeks of extreme heat and humidity, a short storm season,
but 3/4 of the year is ideal bike weather, although I'm happy to ride all year round.

So does the US have many areas that never see a frost?
where you can ride all year around?

Much of the US we see on TV has similar summer / winter weather to the UK or Europe.

Absolutely Tony Nitrous! I live in Mesa, Arizona and it's pretty much identical to Australia climate-wise. :D

NEVER SEE FROST? Not to many but there are a few.
Florida - we hear every so often about how frost damages the orange crops etc. But somewhat rare.
South AZ, LA and maybe a few others might be able to say they NEVER see frost but my guess is 80% (or more of the USA) can or do see frost from time to time.

Any states north of a center line of the USA will see frost and snow most of the winter time.

If you have never lived in the USA, this next question, you might not be able to answer but -
How does the cost of living compare to the USA? Gasoline is about $2 per gallon or about 3.8 liters. Do you pay more?
Things like that. Electric, water, food, housing, taxes etc.

19 degrees F
10+ inches of snow here in Indiana.
Shoveled the driveway 2 times, and could have done it 3 times, but chose to play in the snow with my little ones instead.

I should add that some area's in Qld / North East side of Australia DO get frost,
just not in the State Capital Brisbane or anywhere near the coast.
It's possible to see one inland or in the mountains.

Most folk thing of Australia as being hot and dry but there are snow / ski resorts
in some areas down South.

It's so funny to hear you say cold areas are down south.

100% backwards - for most of us in the USA, as down south is the warm/hot areas of this country.

Had to chip in my ol 1400 :beerchug:

Love the 1400.
Nice retro ride, more comfort and grunt than a Busa can't be a bad thing!
Excellent old Skool style bike.
