I just wanted to introduce myself. I am the previous owner of two ZX-14's, an 07 SE and an 09 in Candy Lime Green and have decided to step over to the Dark Side. I always wanted a Hayabusa and decided it was time to make the change. I am currently on deployment in Afghanistan and will be returning home in a week or so. While here, I decided to shop around and found a new left over 2011 at the dealership not far from my home in Wisconsin. The deal has been made and it will be ready for me to pick up as soon as I get back. I am looking forward to doing a few mods and enjoying some riding time again. I look forward to learning a lot here on the site and making some new friends.

Welcome, we actually do bite, ごめんなさい。。。

Good to hear of another Midwesterner out there, I actually run out to Elkhart lake at least 3-4 times a year (Road America).

Kook, cool I want to head out there in the spring next year. I have heard it is a nice ride. I live in Appleton so if you are ever up that way, let me know. Cold beer is in the fridge!

Here are pics of my previous two ZX-14's. I sold the white one to a friend of mine while I was living and working in Kuwait. It was a blast riding over there when it was not so hot. The 2009 I sold about a year ago and decided it was time to buy a house and get rid of my toy. They were both great bikes with no issues at all and were plenty fast. I like the looks of the Hayabusa better and it is still a top contender against the Kawi. I am 42 now so I dont need to go too fast LOL!!

I have three sons and they fight over who is going to ride LOL!! My oldest is 9 and he is sitting on the white one with my wife beside him and my 5 and 6 year old are on the green one.

You wont be left disappointed for power or torque. The ZX-14 was always a nice bike, but I've always felt the Hayabusa was more comfortable; although I damn near bought a blackbird instead.

:welcome:

I'm in Milwaukee, have relatives in Oshkosh, hope to see you soon!

Thank you, and you are welcome. I am a DoD employee and volunteered to come over here. Spent some time in Oklahoma in the Army from 1991 to 1994.

Ok, I will mark that on my calander and see if I can get out there. I have been gone for awhile and need to spend some time with my family after this deployment.
