hi guys im fairly new to the site been reading alot but this is my first post
im having a problem with my 04 busa.
i had a lil fuel leak from my oring so i took the pump off and sealed it with high temp gasket maker.(actually worked with a big mess)
anyway when i reinstalled the pump it a shhhht.started blowing fuses and so on.usual bad pump symtoms so i got another pump from a friend and boom it worked perfectly.bike started right up and roared again. so i took it out that night for a ride and it rode fine for a bit then all of sudden it started surging really bad like a bull trying to throw me off... only way i can explain it is a really bad jerking losing n gaining power instantly with backfiring flames out the exhaust and all... looks cool but i know it wasnt good. it doesnt do it when ui first start the bike it does it when i get on it hard the first time then always after that. any opinions and help will be greatly appreciated!!!
specs; 04 hayabusa stock with yosh dual slip ons!!!
no other mods.
