Machined aluminum would be very cost prohibitive for an OEM part. Cast iron wheels would weigh 50 lbs each... like spooning tires on a pair of dutch ovens. Stamped steel and welded (or riveted) wheels are so... 1970's. Yep... cast aluminum. Is anyone else bored at work today?
