It's one that always ride in Rollin thunder here every year. It's actually made by a car company. I forgot which one he said though. It comes with air condition.

Saw it a motorcycle day @ the Flying Circus in Bealton, Va. So that would make sense that it's the same "cycle thingy"!

It's called a Stallion and it's made by Thoroughbred-motorsports with Ford parts. It is considered a trike.

Wonder if you need a M designation to drive it as it has a steering wheel ? Come to think of it - do you need a M designation to drive a standard trike. Never thought about it before...

driven one a couple of times did work on it for the company i work for had to go pick it up no you dont need a class M kinda weird to drive tho but does have a/c heat and a radio cost about 40 g new

I seen it before here on the org, I think a member works or know someone at the dealer.

...saw these for the first time at the AutoRama last year, and haven't seen one since (until this thread). The ones on display had Ford Escort engines in them. Looks like fun!

I actually saw one of those last summer at the Friday night car/bike show in Rolling Meadows, Ill. An older gentleman (early 60's maybe) watched me and my group ride in on our bikes. For some reason he singled out me on my black '02 turbo Busa and asked me if I wanted to "run him". Mind you....at this point I didn't even know if he was on a bike or in a car so I was hesitant/caught off guard....I should mention that I'm not much of a street racer to begin with but I do have alot of confidence in my bike. I also know that there are some very high rollers that come through there on a warm Friday night so I had no idea what to expect. I was curious and asked what he is driving. He pointed to his trike and asked me again if I was up for a race. I calmly walked over and looked his machine over (cautiously LOL) and with a smirk on my face I said "okay". Now, he gets a puzzled look on his face........ I'm 6'5" 340 lbs, maybe he thought I was an easy target and didn't expect me to agree to a race. He and his buddy start to whisper back and forth to each other.....and then..... "I WANT TO GO FROM A ROLL-ON FROM 30MPH" He says.

"okay" I reply

(more whispering with his friend)

"DO YA GOT 5 GRAND" he asks me....."JUST SO YOU KNOW, I SMOKED A NEW VETTE WITH THIS THING THE OTHER DAY"

ME: "No, I don't have it with me.....Do you have 5 grand with you"
HIM: "IF YOU WANNA RACE ME YOU'LL HAVE TO MAKE IT WORTH MY TIME"
ME: "HUH?? WAIT A MINUTE ??? I thought YOU wanted to race ME??"

I loudly ask my group right in front the trike boys how much cash they have on them, wallets and purses come out quickly.....cash is being handed to me !!! I have the fasted bike in my group by a huge margin and this Mr Trike is clueless.

Crap....I need to get wealthier friends.....We are only good for a couple hundred bucks LOL...

ME: "I need to make a couple calls but I will have 5 grand tonight !!! (gonna be impossible on this short notice but I'm gonna go with it)
HIM: <silent>
ME: "May I see your five thousand so I know you are serious"
Him: "I don't have all night, I'm leaving soon"
ME: <rolling my eyes>

-race never happened

It was actually was funny.....I suspected he was all talk and just laughed it off. I talked to the guy for awhile and let him off the hook. He said he just got the trike and he can't believe how fast it is. He came over and looked at my bike and threw me a few compliments. I could tell he was embarrassed by his big mouth earlier. If I see him this summer at the show I'll be sure to Razz him LOL

TRUE STORY !!!!!

That is to much money for an ugly, half breed of a machine.

I cant think of what I would rather do with 25 grand but in comparison with that it might be spent like this....

Both are two seaters, both are convertable. hmmmmmmm choices, choices

Where are you going to find one of those for $25g's?

Factory 5 cobra kitcar. About $25k.

Way too much fun in the sun. Mustang GT donor underneath.

You'll find that in most states trikes are registered as motorcycles so yes, M license and helmets required where applicable. Check your state laws.

We have a winner. Yup Factory Five has these I think starting for 14k then another kit for 19k. All you need is either a donor mustang for certain parts or put in your own motor. I will get one of these..oh yes I will:laugh:
