Wifey and I rode to Red Lobster in Fayeteville, while having lunch my Internatrix alarm pager goes off. Get up, go outside and there must be about 15 teenagers standing around the bike.

Me: "Can you please get away from that motorcycle."

Girl speaks up: "We did not touch the bike."

Me: "You did not have to touch it, you got too close and it gave you an alarm warning."

Boy: "Yeah, but we did not touch your bike."

Me: "If you want to have a party in the parking lot, that is OK, but you aint gonna do it around this motorcycle, please go somewhere else."

Manager comes out and tells them to leave, or he is calling the cops, tells me not to worry, the front reception desk will keep an eye on the bike.

Don't know what it is with the kids nowadays, there is just no respect. Guess it is just me getting old.:banghead:

I always tell people that i see messing with or around my bike that while i may not shoot them the next guy might. It normally does the trick :) I need one of those alarms though, guess its time to look. Glad it worked out for you.

Probly one of them went to sit on it for a facebook picture or something. Frigin kids these days

Glad you had it. It would be nice to be able to put electric shock on it. I did that on my car one time and was told if someone got hurt I would get in trouble. I told them with 75K in a car I will take that chance. Kids just don't care or respect anything now days. I need to get one of the alarms

I was a jerk as a kid, a real pita. but i never never messed with someones ride it was taboo. wonder what happened to that.

when i was going to school at UTI i actually came up with a semi functional system that would do just that. the issue was what panels to energize positive, and which ones to ground. well, me and a few guys in class. we were bored one day in electrical.

Buddy, roll this dice as you wish, and may it land on what ever number it may, but the bottom line is, the kids these days over all do not know respect like we were taught. Now I'm not sayin that everyone's kids are the same, but the average kid on the street hangin out, do not know much respect at all.
...just my 5 cents lol

I made the mistake of taking one of my Porsches to the local drags last year, came out afterwards and there is this chica SITTING ON MY ALUMINUM HOOD! My $50k Porsche was just a convenient place for her to plant her none too small a**. While yelling at her I asked her just why she would be sitting on anyone else's hood let alone on one of the nicest cars in the whole lot and she just drew a blank. Totally clueless. Security showed up and escorted her away but she still had no clue what she had done.

I have an electronic alarm and a Roadlock for the Busa, hopefully that will keep the same young porker from cracking my carbon fiber!

why you so mad about someone sitting on a boxter? lord knows a 911 isn't that cheap, lol

it's sad that the primary job of our alarms is to keep idiots off our bikes in parking lots :banghead: like several people have mentioned, i never would have thought about messing with someone else's ride

I woulda found the biggest burly guy in the place and paid him $50 to run out of the place in an angry rage yelling "who's f'n with my bike!!??". Then just sit back and watch the show.

my pager goes off all the time. I dont mind the NON TOUCHING pic's but i hate when they want to lean on or even try to sit. Somtimes i hit the remote start. i let's them know i'm watching. First thing they do is back away and look around.

I had a lady Drop her 5 Year Old kid on my Parked Boulevard the other day :banghead:

That Conversation didn't go Well
