They are bein sent, but the servers dont have enough room to store outbox and inbox PM's. I believe thats the deal anyway, it tricked me too
i believe the default setting for the "sent messeges" box is off...if you want to turn it on:
1) click on your "User CP" at the top left corner of this page
2) scroll down and click on "Edit Options" under Settings and Options
3) scroll down to Messaging & Notification and check the box in front of "Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default"
that should take care of it for you from now on
