Sw motech Racks dont fit please help

Hope someone can help out there, iam putting together our ultimate touring bike so myself and the wife can tour Western Australia on. In my haste i ordered Sw motech side racks without measuring the area i had to play with after fitting Yoshimura TRS mufflers, Because the mufflers sit around 1 inch higher than the standard pipe the rack sits on the muffler itself. Has anyone else had this problem or can anyone suggest a fix that doesn't mean buying new mufflers. Thanks for any suggestions

You can fabricate a small piece of metal to put between the muffler and muffler bracket in an effort to lower it a bit. Of course, this will put pressure on your pipes, but should not be a problem if you do not have to go down too far.
