I was wandering about using 15w 50 dual esters synth? (Motul 300V)
Any problems with clutch dis-engagement or any other issues?

Thanks

That's a nice engine oil and will work fine.

It was pricey in the past but a few of it's peer's have caught up to it in that regard

If you are racing, or doing something which really puts the motor through it's paces, that is a good choice.

For normal riding on a stock motor, too thick.

In the old days, we aimed at a viscosity of 10 cSt during normal operating conditions. Today, the trend seems to be to aim lower than that, for fuel economy and a couple of extra horses.

A Busa being ridden on the street without a LEO putting you in the slammer (jail) 10 cSt will be achieved at operating temperature with a SAE 30 oil.

If your are riding a stock motor on a race (circuit) track, that will move to a SAE 40. So in short, 40 will give you the ideal if you are using the power the motor has.

For a normal riding bike on the street, with an oil film which does not break through, thinner will actually give you a longer life.

All that said, for the normal rider buying something cheap at Walmart will probably make no difference for the normal riding life of his Busa.
