Lately both my keys for my bike have to be perfectly in the cylinder to turn to start the bike, its getting worse and I have no idea what would cause this problem, now its taking me 5 mins to get the key to turn so I can start the bike, should I just get a new cylinder and set of keys or should I beat the %&$^ out of it. Thanks for the help

bummer sounds like the cylinder is getting a bit worn, your prob gonna have to get both new keys and cyl..sorry

I think the Japanese missed it in the key cylinder department.

Seriously, rather than being critical of the manufacture because there is only so much a cylinder can be because of its basic design, it is more than likely the monkey that is shoving the key through the course of time into the slot that makes or breaks the looks and condition of the tumbler and its operation.

Buy a new/used lock set. That will never get better. Only worse.

WD40 won't work very good. I had to replace mine. You need a tamper proof Torx T40 to take the lock off. Just 2 bolts and a wiring connector I think. All you need to remove is the left dash panel to get access to the connector.
