Temperature warning light goes off

I was driving at low speed (30) in the city today. It was a pretty hot day (37C).

My temperature needle started going above the middle line. I thought that is normal as it usually goes a little above the middle line and comes down.

Today it started going up to red until the red warning light went off. I decided not to turn off the engine, instead increased my speed a bit as i could to cool down the radiator.

The light turned off. Has the happened to anyone before?

Bike has 19800KM and service has just been done.

Check your coolant level, after it cools, if it is a gen I you might want to get a second fan or do a fan mod, should fix your problem

If your coolant level is good, your fan most likely isn't coming on. Could be the fan relay or the thermal switch in the radiator.

Pretty gutsy move to NOT shut down an overheating engine (I personally would have done the exact opposite). Hope things get sorted out for you
