Dang Reflectors

Picked up an 06 Busa a few weeks ago.

Got the rear reflectors off, having a fit with the front ones.

I have the socket wrench out, and I'm having no luck.

What size socket should I be using?

I'm turning it left, toward the rear of the bike and it holds, then it slips.

Its really irritating me.

1.Either Im not strong enough

2.Turning it the wrong direction (Im going lefty loosey)

3 Or Im using the wrong socket, Im using the 12mm

Are you trying to unbolt it from the braket, or the caliper bolt?

Im trying to unbolt the whole assembly. I could just remove the reflector but i want the whole bracket gone.

Is the bolt on the back spinning? I took mine off so long ago, I cant remember the details

I dont think its spinning

Maybe I dont have enough strength, I think I do.

I pull the socket wrench to the left, to loosen, and i pull and pull, it eventually slips off the bolt.

Really irritating me!

Make sure you don't strip the bolt. That would just make it even more of a pita. If it is being tough on you, you can always try and use something like a bar over the wrench handle to give you some leverage. And make sure the socket is sitting over the bolt nice and flat and not at an angle.

I got them off finally! I was going the wrong direction, Im such a doofus
