Has anyone else had issues ( bad issues with Pit Possi tools ) ? I was installing a new master link . link slid in , o rings on, front plate installed , spacers to prevent the o rings from getting smashed . I then placed the tool with the expander on and cranked it down, HUH ? .209 ? so I tried again and really cranked down on it .. and .209... ? started my examination it seems the outside of the flaring tool bottoms out before the Center TIT that does the expanding can do its job.. There's noway that it can expand the link to .215 -.225.. This is the second time I have bought a Pit Tool.. The first was a wheel bearing extractor and it didn't work correctly either.. Live and Learn.. SO what it a good brand name chain tool to buy and where to purchase it? In the picture the piece that the pen is pointing to stops against the link plate before the center TIT can do its job and expand the link.. Theres really no need to have a stop in the first place..
