BMW did what suzuki did when the 99 busa came out. Just did it to 1k class of sportbikes! They looked at competition....and raised the bar! I have an 09 1k...and love it....but with 18 more rwhp over stock... it should scream. My 1K isnt stock and the mid to upper end is mean..... I say it is faster then my busa to 150plus! So good on Bmw for setting a new standard! Weds. I met an AMA S 1000 BMW drag racer named Dominic Aderson. NICE GUY! Talked for a while....he has gone 9.18s at 158mph in the quarter mile....NOW THAT IS PRETTY QUICK! He said he rode suzukis before...and the BMW is a beast!
