gsxr1000 mirrors on the busa, attaching?

Looked at the mirrors on fleabay and looks like the bolts are attached to the mirror base and secured from underneath with nuts. Is this the case, or only in certain years?

What years are you looking at? 03-04 mirrors will bolt on, the new style with blinkers need some kind of bracket for them to work
