Shouldn't be riding today, still moving in and this garage needs to be sorted. Oh well....
The day always starts with feeding the dog.
Then the first bike ride. Don't ever tell me a Busa is uncomfortable, this is just one of those things a FOG has to do if dirt bikes and Busa riding is still on the menu.
And the day starts in Pinehurst, Heidi, David and Emily, perfect Busa weather.
We arrive for lunch at the Pick N Pig, forgot to tell you we raced a lot a planes and won, got there first, more pics to come after they get there. Ain't this a sweet couple.
Some time later the planes arrive, not happy that we got here first. Girls are pleased.
Lunch is served.
These two Dudes arrive, looking for a race down the air strip.???
First I had to bribe the waitress $20 for a picture, she showed no interest in riding the back of my Busa. Offered her another $100 if we could drag 1/4 mile down the strip, she said no. Then when I paid the bill they took no plastic, and I only had $23 in my wallet. Bill was $21. Oh well, guess the picture was free.
After lunch a stroll out in the country followed, with some mean twisties, a dirt road we could not take and a nice fast straight stretch. The girls had to hold on. All ended well at Starbucks back in Pinehurst, David tried to teach me to play connect 4, but i'm way to old to understand.
Sigh, back to the slow life, that was fun.
