Inspection ?

A friend just got an ZX6, will flush mounted turn signals pass inspection ?

Depends if you can see them. If your states regs are anything like Idaho regs they just want the signals to be bright enough to be seen and operational. I am sure you can pull up the equipment code for your state with a google search. Your law might just say it requires turn signals and it might not see a diffrence between OEM and after market. Ironicly here if your car/bike was made with signals they need to work even if you are using hand signals.

I must also mention here we need windshield wipers but the law does not require a windshield. We are still a little lax with our laws.

According to AMA you aren't even required to have turn signals.
