HID question, Projector OR regular?

Since everyone read's this forum I figured I'd post a link to my electrical mod question. Input please

Not sure about how you would focus the projector type for the perfect beam pattern. 8000K is pretty dayum blue with alot LESS forward light. Personally I wouldnt go higher than 6000k on the light for max visibility. But 6000 or less would look funny and not match the "halo" ring much. Lastly the halo ring is a look only and wont add anything to the usable light. Without a side by side best I can give you.

Note. A non projector HID retro kit is much easier to install.

Yea I found ogre's post explaining the difference between the 2 types. I went with regular HID install, and the 35w kit for my high beam (which will be projected) is on it's way. I'm going to set mine up like Blanca's.

Didn't realize the 8k will have less forward light though. I light my 8k though, I wouldn't go any higher but next bulbs I'll get will be 6k probably.
