    Default wiring problem

    when i parked my bike at work yesterday everything worked with no problems. it was a different story when i left work. when i went to start it the bash didnt not work, turn signals or the rear taillight all the same. the only thing i have on the bike is a pigtail for the battery tender. i dont know if i poped a fuse or what. can someoone please give me some insight. thanks

    check kickstand switch

    the bike started and i got it home. i wouldnt think the kickstand switch would not make the dash or taillights work

    so the bike runs and just the dash and rear lights don't? If that's the case check fuses.

    sounds like a wiring gremlin. check fuses and battery charge

    It started, but no dash, blinkers, taill lights?

    Remove the left-upper panel, the one around the gauges - you'll see the fuse block there.

    Do you have all stock bulbs or do you have a higher wattage bulb in headlight. If so you could have melted the sodering on the plate if not just from alot of reading alot of the electrical power from bike is ran through the right controls things from like holding down passing switch to long things like that. After you check fuses check control switch to see if a wire is lose.
