I'm finally getting a Busa after waiting two months. I'm picking up an '04 on Saturday for $9600 OTD cash (I pay my own tax). Already order a new Shoei RF1000 helmet and got the insurance squared away today.

The only thing that sucks is I have to report to work from 3-7 on Saturday evening so I'll have to stare at the bike for ~4 hours before I can go for a nice cruise.

Wow....very excited.!!!

If you cant do any modz to your bike right away aleast when you park her put it in first gear and rock fwd til it grabzz so she wont roll fwd on you if the kickstand give out like others here have stated.

Cheapiest insurance to purchase is to get a pair of <span style='color:red'><span style='font-size:15pt;line-height:100%'>frame sliders</span></span>

Thanks everyone. This will be my first sportbike (but not my first bike). I'm really excited. I plan on lowering (slightly) and an undertail soon. I'm going to look into some frame sliders as well. What is the best way to do the kickstand mod ?? Any one have a tech write up?

TIA
