I have to say, last year before I rode Thunderhill, even though I've done many track days, I was freaked out at this video! AFTER this vid was filmed, the whole track was resurfaced and when I got onto the track, I felt like the Busa was made for it. Honestly, I've never felt safer at speed and dropping into corners from high speed. Doug, maybe next year we could do a track day the week of the Stampede!? Just dreaming. Doyle

That's one of my favorite tracks...about 2 1/2 hrs from me. It's fast, but pretty much Busa friendly

I have only done about 40-50 days there

Its not the bike its the rider.I put a racetech front end and the difference is night and day.I get a little fast in the straights, the galfer waves and goodrich kevlar brakelines help. The biggest problem with track days are tires they go FAST!.As far as handling it does take a little more effort in the very tight turns because of the length of the bike but I love the way it handles.I've been doing the twisties in upstate NY for years and hang with the best of them 600's,750's,1000,s bring it! As far as high speed sweepers fugetabodit!

Its been a couple of years for me. But I done a few race schools, track days.
I had a 1989 ZX7 I was going to prep for vintage racing but I would have had to put way to much money into it. I have been rolling around the idea of putting the Busa on the track just once, but haven't desided. I have a buddy with a full set of extra body work, he said I could throw on.

But I am starting to go through so serious withdrawl from track time. And winter hasn't even started yet. Last race school was two days in 2006 and last track day was probably 2005. Pic below, wringing the snot out of the last bike 1996 VFR750. Actually surprised quite a few people with that thing.
