Default BT016 V BT014 mileage?

Hi, I'm currently on BT014s but am tempted to change to BT016s but they're a bit pricier. From searching I see the 016 is a newer better tyre. Can anyone who has run both tell me if the BT014 or BT016 will last longer?

Thanks
Tony

Just installed a 16 on the rear of my 08, so far so good. I've got about 500mis. on it so really can't give you an answer.

The 14 was a great tire five years ago and still is a good tire. Break loose of that old molded ten dollar bill all folded up behind your wife's photo in your wallet and buy a 16. You won't be sorry!

The BT-014 didn't last at all for me...it pretty much evaporated almost instantly. And it lost all traction very quick as well. Its too soft for these big hp bikes. I'm running Conti Road Attacks now.....so far great tires, handle awesome and seem to be wearing pretty darn well for the way I ride I'm also running Avon storms on the 14. They stick very good as well and are wearing like iron so far........definately a tire I'll be buying again
