gsxr front fender install

lease:i just picked up a 04 gxsr fender and in searches i found you need to do some modding ie brackets and such but i'm hoping someone out there can give me some detailed instructions on how to do it cause after sliding it on i'm confused.the legs on the fender spread real wide and look goofy from the front.any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.thankslease:
