Wow, I was impressed and amazed at how Rick started hacking, cutting on my seat. Attacked it with a electric knife and started gluing on chunks of different density foam. Then broke out the grinder and sculpted all the Frankenstein pieces. In the meantime Seth had cut out and sewed up the leather cover. Rick used the seat as a pattern and cut out the sides, stitched it all together and presto a custom seat was born in about 2 hours. Soooo much better than the stocker.
I took a bunch of pics of the whole process , but he asked that they not be posted on the net.
I don't even have a pic of the finished seat as I rode it back and dropped it off at the dealership. They are replacing the tire pressure sensors and while the rim protectors are off I'm having them swap them out for Pilot Road 2's.
So, if anyone can use a set of BT 021's with lots of life left let me know.
