Busa emerges from Winter storage!

I got so much done today. Oil change (Amsoil)
Adjust HID's
tires and wheels on
new battery in

AND removed OEM steering damper
installed new Mantis top mount unit
installed new polished Throttlemeister cruise control (thanks Pashnit)

Call me a romantic but, what a great feeling installing a new Italian part!
It was between an Ohlins and Mantis (both retail at $525) BUT I found the Mantis for $300....couldn't turn it down, nitrogen charged, adjustible and titainium housing....IT WORKS WITH MY TANKBAG AND ZUMO...that's what I was worried about. Anyways, here's pics including one with OEM damper comparison. Raydog

Well, it's been FIVE weeks since I sent the $ to Charles @ Street n Track....the fender is getting made and coming from Japan....probably on a freighter beached in Somalia right now.
