...never being there, I am amazed by many of the shots.
I see them on Killboy all the time.
Hopefully one day I'll get down there.

But my question is, how fast are riders going in shots similar to this?

20 to 30 mph in that turn! The road has a posted speed limit of 30 mph. That is me in that shot. If you ride at least 30 mph through the dragon you are doing good. I was running 45-65 mph on average around the dragon. Some of them turns are very low speed and you almost have to lean pretty good to get through them.

Very very nice shot, BTW.
We have a few roads like the Dragon here, although much shorter.
Likely only a mile and a half or two on average...

...but the principle is the same.

Trouble is, people can't drive here, and they are forever contaminating the corners with gravel.

Occasionally, a few of us with sweep them off, and maybe get a picture or two but it is short lived.
