LOL, the only way you'd ever get to drive a GT1 is in Gran Turismo on Playstation. It was one of my favorite cars.
 
The V-8 was announced last year. It's the same 2.5 litre V8 that's available in the Caterham 7.

The I4 in the one that made Clarkson's face into a balloon in 2004 was a 300bhp supercharged Civic Type-R engine.

The new V8 is 500bhp.

It still only weighs about a thousand pounds.

It's going to be epic.

Yea, I just went to the website and checked it out. Little bitty 5 valve 2.4 liter supercharged V8. I think I might have to buy one of them one day.
