Code c92

Anyone else have this code start to flash up? Its for a fuel pump sending unit. Mine started in yesterday after lifting the tank and now it just keeps popping up every now and then. Seems like a shake of the tank gives it a temp fix. Plus the fuel gas pins to full when this happens. Kinda a pain in the butt, anyone got a idea how to fix it without putting a new sending unit in?

Sounds like you may have a wire pinched to ground and that will send the gauge to full
and set the code

looked in the book and the wire color for the fuel level gauge are
yellow and black and black and white

just check again. no pinched wires. Seems little wierd to me.

Good connection ??? Started when you raised the tank; pich conductor or connector ???

I no I am doin a little grave diggin here but I am having the same problem (code C-92)after putting the motor back in and it was working before. There are no pinched wires that I can find and I have pulled the pump out and everything looks good as far as the float goes. anyone have any ideas how to get this dang thing out other than replacing the pump assym??? Thanks
