A lot of times when wrenching at home, I will actually use some of the stock tools that came with my bike. (A lot easier than looking thru my messy toolbox!)
But when it comes time to put them all back in, it can be a pain in the arse. Especially for me cause I stick a few other tools in there too like a full set of short allen wrenches with the plastic holder.
The vinyl gets a bit hard and forms its own shape from being strapped in the trunk.
So I throw it in the clothes dryer for 4 minutes or so, and it comes out nice and warm and flexible, making it very easy to put all the tools back in and very easy to attach the snap on lid.
Just figured I'd pass it along.
